The INSERM Research Centre UMR866 ‘Lipids, Nutrition, Cancer - LNC’ was created the 1st of January 2007 and gathers several laboratories from the Université de Bourgogne, the INSERM, the EPHE et AgroSup.
The overall vocation of INSERM UMR866 is to promote fundamental and clinical research in the fields of cancer, nutrition, lipid biology, and cardiometabolic risk. Over the last years, and beyond common administration of UMR866, one main duty was to favour interactions between distinct subgroups in order :

On January 1st 2007, INSERM Research Center included 9 distinct groups, involving 211 persons (researchers + teaching-researchers + technicians/engineers + postdocs + PhD students).
